"On Location" photography is my specialty. I feel as though my clients are more comfortable and at ease in an environment that is common for them. Young children in particular will produce fake smiles in a studio style session, yet if photographed in a fun location such as a park, you will see bright and shining eyes and smiles! The location is completely your choice, though if you need some inspiration I can provide a variety of ideas.

I primarily use natural light for my portraits, which produces lovely warm photographs. As you see your photographs for the first time you will delight in the fact that it seems as though the image is jumping off the page! Especially if your child is dressed in bright cheerful clothing. Bare feet are always precious as well, little feet only stay little for such a short while, I say lets photograph them quickly before they grow! One thing to remember is that it is always best to avoid nap and meal time when scheduling sessions with young children.

For casual family and engagement shots, simple comfortable clothing always produces beautiful results. Imagine a series of photographs of you walking along the lake hand in hand with your loved one. Sounds great right? Now think about strolling through the water at dusk in bare feet dressed in comfy rolled up jeans and a casual white shirt... now that's a beautiful image.
